About the Designer

Early in his career modern designer Warren Platner collaborated with the icons such as Pei and Saarinen before turning his focus to his most lauded creations made of industrial steel. He believed there was a place in modernism "for the kind of decorative, gentle, graceful design that appeared in a period style like Louis XV." To that purpose, he rendered many elegant steel pieces including tables, chairs and stools design enthusiasts covet to this day.

Special Care Instructions

To clean the metal base, avoid use of harsh acidic or abrasive cleaning solutions. Use damp soapy sponge or cloth for general clean-up. Use soft cloth or paper towel and glass cleaner for glass top.
